Vriksh Vandana – Planting Legacies, Honouring Life giversIn a world that breathes because a mother nurtures and a tree sustains, Sanskriti KMV School, Jalandhar paid a green tribute through “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0”—a stirring initiative under its Eco Drive Campaign on the occasion of World Environment Day. This profound gesture aimed to celebrate the essence of motherhood by planting trees in honour of mothers—our first caregivers, much like Mother Nature herself. The event was graced by our esteemed Guest of Honour, Mrs. Asha Juneja, an ardent environmental advocate, whose graceful presence lent an air of reverence to the occasion. With her hands sowing the promise of a sapling, she beautifully symbolised the nurturing spirit of a mother, rooting care and hope into the very soil of the Earth.Mrs. Rachna Monga, (Principal), in her inspiring address, remarked:”To plant a tree in honour of a mother is to plant a legacy of love, strength, and sustenance. Let this act remind us all that just like a mother, nature too asks for nothing but gives everything. May we continue to sow gratitude and grow responsibility.”This initiative wasn’t just an act of environmental commitment—it was a poetic celebration of love, life, and legacy.
