“Cleanliness drive for Swachh Bharat”
In accordance with cleanliness drive started by our honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, the role of schools has been instrumental in realizing the mission of “Swachh Bharat.” As the schools play a vital role in spreading the “Swachhta” awareness and implementation across the country, we observed “Swachhta Pakhwada” from 1st Sept’ to 15th Sept’. 2017.

The drive included Quizzing, Poster Making, Expression Writing, Declamation Contest, Idea Sharing and much more.
Students and the mentors pledged to raise the mass awareness to achieve clean public space. Mrs Rachna Monga, Principal, in her noteworthy appreciation, mentioned the campaign as a daily discipline. Indeed the mass campaign has imprinted the young minds and their mentors with lifelong process for the cause of all. The ‘Swachhta Drive’ is not just in words but in the actions of SKMV.

Activity 1

A special assembly was organised to declare and adopt Swachh Vidyalaya Swachh Bharat Campaign. Oath was taken to maintain cleanliness all around to achieve the objective of attaining a clean country and a clean world.

Activity 2

A meeting with parents were conducted to highlight the importance of cleanliness and sanitation among children, raising the collective awareness to achieve clean public space and sharing the knowledge about consequences of unhealthy environment.

Activity 3

Inspection of health and hygiene of school by class representatives, house captain, head boy and head girl. Accordingly the action plan was made and considered. Few glimpse of the implementation of the plan.
