Moving with the wave of the nation, Khelo India, a national program for Sports flagged by Hon’ble PM Sh Narendra Modi Ji and also marking the birth Anniversary of Hon’ble Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru ji, as Children’s Day, Sanskriti KMV School had a mega opening of Khel Utsav, 2016, giving a call to young generation to stay fit, energetic and competitive through participation in vivid field and track games.
Khel Utsav is an inter school event inviting the young athletes and sports person from schools far and wide the city for competitive contest in Volley ball, Basket Ball, Speed Ball, Fencing, Taekwondo, Chess, Athletics, Table tennis etc. A week long event was inaugurated by Mrs Rachna Monga, Principal, Sanskriti KMV School and Mrs Ashoo Bajaj, HOD, Sports Department, KMV, with a release of balloons. Day’s event included opening march by all the teams, guard of honour, pledge and inter school cricket match.
Mrs Rachna Monga, Principal, in her address to the young players and coaches, mentioned it as a sincere tribute to Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru and a step towards training and encouraging children to excel in sports. The effort involves in upbringing the good sports person not only from Sanskriti KMV School but also from other education partners.
- The overall Trophy was won by Sanskriti KMV School, second position won by Jyoti Model School and third pposition by Shiv Jyoti Public School. Medals and trophies were given to the winners.
