From Awareness to Action: Sanskriti KMV’s Eco-Conscious DriveReaffirming its unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability and ecological awareness, Sanskriti KMV School, Jalandhar commemorated World Environment Day 2025 with a spectrum of thought-provoking and action-oriented activities for Grades IX to XII. Anchored in the compelling theme ‘Combating Plastic Pollution: Together for a Greener Planet’, the school orchestrated an engaging Inter-House Competition to ignite a spirit of innovation and responsibility among students.The vibrant line-up of events included:Poster Presentation Slogan Writing Wealth Out of WasteParticipants showcased remarkable creativity and environmental concern through a range of pertinent sub-themes such as:* Marine Pollution* Only One Earth* Zero Waste Living* Toss Less, Recycle More* Protect Our Earth’s Treasures* Together, We Can Make a Difference* Repurpose Old Items* Sustainable Development* AI for Climate ChangeIn parallel with these initiatives, the school spearheaded a 5-Day Mega E-Waste Collection Drive from 1st to 5th June 2025, in proud collaboration with PAHAL – Karo Sambhav, India’s foremost authorized e-waste recycling organization. This forward-looking campaign encouraged students, parents, and staff to contribute obsolete electronic devices, reinforcing the message of responsible disposal and recycling.On this occasion, Our esteemed Principal Mrs. Rachna Monga shared her vision, stating:“The Earth is not merely our habitat but our shared heritage and responsibility. At Sanskriti KMV School, we endeavour to cultivate a generation of environmentally conscious citizens who understand the urgency of climate action. These initiatives serve as vital tools in embedding the values of sustainability and ecological mindfulness in our students. **Winter Break for Grades III to XII will be observed from Friday, 26th December 2025 to 7th January 2026, Wednesday.
The school will resume on Thursday, 8th January 2026.
Note: The remaining exams will be conducted after the winter break. The revised Datesheet will be shared in due course.
