Sanskriti KMV School, Jalandhar, through its Eco Club, successfully organised a series of well-structured activities to sensitise teachers, students and parents towards the responsible use and disposal of electronic waste.An E-Waste Awareness Workshop for Teachers, titled “Think Before You Throw”, was conducted through an informative PowerPoint presentation, thoughtfully explained by students, highlighting the hazards of improper e-waste disposal and the need for sustainable practices.The initiative further included an E-Waste Awareness Workshop for Students (Classes I–XII) under the theme “Be Smart, Don’t Throw Apart!”, focusing on responsible gadget usage, eco-friendly habits and recycling practices.To reinforce learning through action, an E-Waste Collection Drive titled “E-Waste Warriors – Be Cool, Be Green, Keep the Earth Clean” was organised, wherein whole school actively participated and brought electronic waste from collecting massive 786 Kg promoting environmental responsibility.The Principal, Mrs Rachna Monga, lauded the initiative and emphasised that mindful actions are essential to protect the environment and build a sustainable future.
