Sanskriti KMV School, Jalandhar proudly conducted “PlantID: Discover Green”, an innovative and interactive eco-initiative under the aegis of the Eco Club for Mission LiFE. The activity aimed at nurturing environmental consciousness and technological integration among students.Activity Highlights:Identify Plants: Students explored the lush green campus and identified various plant species.Collect Information: Detailed data about each plant—including its botanical name, characteristics, environmental benefits, and cultivation tips—was meticulously gathered.Generate QR Codes: Students used digital tools to generate QR codes linking to the collected plant information.Install QR Codes: These codes were thoughtfully displayed beside the respective plants across the campus.Scan and Learn: The initiative empowered all visitors and students to scan the QR codes with their smartphones to instantly access authentic information about the plant.Ms Rachna Monga ( Principal) stated that “Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE have been constituted to foster environmentally responsible behaviour among students. In a pioneering step, a dedicated portal has been developed to streamline and document all activities conducted under the Eco Club. This portal serves as a centralised platform for uploading and monitoring the environmental efforts carried out by schools nationwide.
