Sanskriti KMV School recently hosted a vibrant and multifaceted Diwali celebration, showcasing the talents and creativity of students from nursery to 12th grade. The festivities commenced with our Tiny Tots reciting poignant dohas from the Ramayana, encapsulating the essence of this auspicious occasion. A captivating dance performance depicting the arrival of Lord Rama in Ayodhya followed, enchanting the audience with its grace and fervor.Students from grades 1st to 8th engaged in a plethora of Diwali-themed craft activities, which included the intricate creation of diya cut-outs, colorful kandils, toran decorations, gift boxes, and exquisite candle holders. In a commendable initiative towards sustainability, students donated reusable or recyclable items, thereby contributing to a greener environment.The senior students took the lead in imparting essential safety measures, ensuring a secure and enjoyable celebration for all. Each class participated in the creation of intricate rangoli designs, transforming the school into a tapestry of colors and patterns. Additionally, workshop was conducted on Mouldit Clay by Pedilite, led by esteemed resource persons Ms. Navdeep Kaur and Ms. Ritu Lal, both certified professionals from Pidilite.This Diwali celebration at Sanskriti KMV School not only highlighted the rich cultural heritage of India but also fostered a spirit of creativity, collaboration, and environmental consciousness among our students. The event was a resounding success, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all participants.Mrs. Rachna Monga (Principal) offered her warm wishes to both staff and students and reiterated that students should celebrate Diwali in its purest form by lighting earthen lamps and sharing with the less fortunate. She apprised the students to act responsibly and be sensitive towards the essence of their environment and conveyed the message of a pollution-free, clean and safe Diwali.
