Sanskriti KMV School, in its initiative to impart education, sensitive to environmental needs, celebrated World Earth Day with a series of events held for the students to invoke respect, concern and action to conserve the natural resources.
Mrs Rachna Monga, Principal in her special address to the students, mentioned the importance of being receptive to the urgent need towards the alarming degradation of the resources.
She called for the continuous support through a promise from the students , to celebrate Earth Day not just as a day but through round the year thought and action towards conservation of earth.
On this occasion, Mrs Rachna Monga, Principal teachers and the students joined for the mass plantation drive in the campus, adding it to school greens.
Students and teachers pledged to shun the use of aluminium foils which leads to major addition to the garbage. Announcing it as Environment Week, with further events that intends to communicate the thought to the society as a whole.
