Children remember what they do , rather than what they are told about. ’As a key part of the curriculum , extra curricular activities are an important part of a child’s learning development as it helps them to organize information and build their confidence. Providing a chance to the young learners to think outside the box , ‘Show and Tell’ activity was organized for classes I and II where the children were encouraged to pick up a topic of their interest and express themselves. Tiny tots participated in the competition with full zeal and enthusiasm as they came up with various interesting objects and explained their characteristics in an impressive manner. Through this activity there was not only an enhancement in the vocabulary of the students, but a boost of confidence was also seen. Principal Ms. Rachna Monga felt overjoyed listening to the young students and praised them for their exceptionally good performances.
