Sanskriti KMV School hosted Jalandhar Sahodaya Interschool Powerpoint Competition giving thoughtful platform for the students to present their views on the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal 15 Life On Earth combining their research with IT and presentation skills. Event was inaugurated by Mrs Rachna Monga, Principal, Sanskriti KMV School. Jury members included Mr Shiv Modgil, Managing Director, Younic Tech and Mrs Gurmeet Kaur, Senior Cordinator , Sanskriti KMV School. In all 23 teams participated from schools of Jalandhar cluster.
Teams focused on the global environmental target and achievable goals through progressive measures for checking deforestation, desertification and conserve water resources.
Winners of the competition were-
- First position was bagged by Woodland Overseas, Hoshiarpur.
- Second Position was taken by La Blossom School and Army Public School, Cantt .
- On third position, Kamla Nehru Public School, Phagwara and Police DAV School, Jalandhar
- STS World School received Consolation award.
Praising the effort of all the participants, Mrs Rachna Monga congratulated the winner teams and their mentors for excelling in the event. Mentioning as a joint responsibility for being caring and sensitive to the environment, she called for round the clock effort from all corners of the society and mentioned the event as a best messenger for it.
