Auspicious grounds of Sanskriti KMV School, was the launch pad of the much awaited E-Challan Project of Punjab Police, in the benign presence of Sh. Rohit Choudhary, IPS (ADGP Law and Order, Punjab) and Sh Praveen Kumar Sinha IPS, Commissioner of Poilce Jalandhar. At this inaugural moment, Sh. Harbinder Singh, PPS, Assistant Commissioner Of Police, Traffic, Jalandhar and other Traffic Police Officials gave their presence in this event of high importance.
Member of NIC Team, Punjab , Sh Satinder Kumar (State Information Officer and Senior technical Director NIC Punjab), Sh Sarbjeet Singh (Senior Technical Director NIC Punjab), Sh Amolak Singh Kalsi ( District Informatic Officer and Senior Technical Director NIC Punjab), Sh. Narinder Singh (Principle System Analyst NIC Punjab) and Sh Babloo Kumar Sharma, (Programmer NIC Punjab) were present in the launch program. Sh Satinder Kumar, State Information Officer and Senior Technical Director NIC Punjab, gave elaborate presentation about the NIC Software and its implementation. Sh Praveen Kumar Sinha IPS, Commissioner of Police Jalandhar, gave the special address about the benefits of E-Challan Machine and its transparency in use with the general public for the challan system.
At this moment, Mrs Rachna Monga, Principal, Sanskriti KMV School, extended warm welcome to the officials and NIC Team.
Commissioner Of Police, Jalandhar, while addressing the media, mentioned that, E-Challan software has been prepared by NIC. In the efforts of communicating the project to all the states of India, NIC, had held Video Conferencing a month ago to the 29 different cities of all the states across India. From Punjab, Jalandhar and Ludhiana got the privilege for this special information session.
To launch this project in Jalandhar, the team of Jalandhar Police, had put in very strong and dedicated efforts to implement the project. This was evident from today’s successful inaugural event, hosted at Sanskriti KMV School, Jalandhar. It is a matter of great pride for us that, Jalandhar, has earned this honour of being the first city in India, to launch E-challan project and a great privilege for Sanskriti KMV School to host the event.
